The body top is book matched Quilted Maple with a Bolivian Rosewood tone plate, and Mahogany body back, with Mesquite, Purpleheart and Maple body block and matching neck with a Flamed Purpleheart fingerboard, and matching Quilted Maple head plate veneer. The Bass is supplied with Hipshot Hardware and custom engraved Q-parts knobs, inlaid with natural green abalone shell. The Bass is built to 35 inch scale length and has 25 frets, including a zero fret. Nordstrand Big Blade pickups and a Nordstrand 3B preamp with active - passive switching is included in the electronics package. Custom features include Bass One Basses proprietary XLR balanced line out, and green Fiber Optic fret-board markers. The Bass is finished with high gloss polyester for maximum durability. Also included with the bass is Gator cases Pro Gig bag complete with rain jacket and a Levy's M-29 ergonomic bass strap also designed and developed by Dr. Duane Greene, produced by Levy's Leathers. The strap is outfitted with matching natural green abalone shell strap locks supplied by Q parts.
